Kyle is a former Army Officer commissioned through ROTC at Butler University. He was commissioned as an Ordnance Officer in 2001 and was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  While on active duty, Kyle deployed to Afghanistan with the 503rd Maintenance Company and with the 46th Corp Support Group to Iraq. After his separation from the Army Kyle joined the Inactive Ready Reserves and was reactivated for his third deployment to Iraq.

Kyle has enjoyed a successful transition from the military working for Avon Products Inc as a General Manager of their distribution facility in Pasadena, CA. He subsequently served as the Head of Supply Chain for Avon Canada. After leaving Avon, Kyle joined Allergan Pharmaceuticals as the Director of Supply Chain and transitioned to AbbVie Inc. after their acquisition of Allergan. Kyle and his wife Stefanie (who is currently serving LTC in the Army National Guard) live in West Chester, Ohio, and have 2 sons DJ and Luca.
